Sarah Hathaway

Sarah Hathaway has worked in logistics, supply chain and materials management roles at General Motors since 2006. She started her career in command centre coordination and material flow, including managing material allocation, critical capacity and inventory, before taking on roles as inbound rail analyst, supply chain engineer supervisor, material control lead and later materials office manager at the Lake Orion Assembly plant. While in the manufacturing plant she supported key new vehicle and EV launches while reducing inventory and freight costs despite numerous supply chain disruptions. Starting in February 2024, she took over responsibility for GM’s finished vehicle network engineering, helping to drive efficiency, improve performance and reduce cost across modes and delivery. Sarah has a BA in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, and an MBA from Wayne State University.
