Michael (Mike) Rye is the Senior Vice President Sales, Customer Growth Americas for Wallenius Wilhelmsen. He oversees the sales strategy for North and South America, covering all customer segments and solutions to elevate customer experience across Shipping, Vehicle and High & Heavy Logistics, and Supply Chain Solutions.
Mike has dedicated more than 23 years to Wallenius Wilhelmsen, holding a variety of strategic leadership roles and operational expertise. His professional background includes overseeing vehicle processing and distribution, marine terminals, port and cargo operations, logistics services, and trade management. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of High & Heavy Logistics, where he was responsible for all equipment processing and inland distribution operations in the Americas.
Mr. Rye is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy (Kings Point) and holds degree in Logistics and International Business. He has also completed executive education at The Wharton School of Business and The Thunderbird School of Global Management.
He currently resides in Pennsylvania with his wife, Melissa, and their two children.
