Jochen Schneider has responsibility across production planning, production control and vehicle logistics for the BMW plant in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, in a role that takes a holistic, 360-degree perspective on overseeing program scheduling, demand and distribution requirements. 

Jochen Schneider has worked at BMW Group since 1997 in a variety of roles at plants and central headquarters in Germany across different areas, including engineering project management, quality engineering and program planning. He has held various international assignments including as quality engineer for the production of the X3 at the BMW plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina and in both quality management and program planning at the carmaker’s plant in Araquari, Brazil. He has been at the plant in Mexico since 2022 in production control, adding vehicle distribution in February 2026.
